Winterbourne Junior Girls' School wanted to replace 2 old wooden playground structures with new shelters for sun shades and covered outdoor learning. Aquila dismantled and removed the old structures, replacing them with 2 larger 6m x 6m free standing canopies. Our structures come with a 10 year guarantee and have a 20 year design lifespan. As the school wanted to maintain the existing colour scheme the framework and membrane was supplied in 'Poppy' red which is one of 40 different colours available to choose from. The membrane consists of colourfast material and does not fade. In addition, the PVC has a lacquer coating which prevents the build of traffic film and leaves, ensuring it stays clean all year around.
