About Aquila Shelters

We have been making and installing our structures for sale & hire for over 35 years. There are more than 400 of our permanent shelters installed around the UK in schools, stadiums and businesses. We are a small multi-skilled team and all our jobs are worked on by everyone, starting with manufacturing new shelters at our Bolton factory, carrying out groundwork and installation at your site.

Unlike some other shelter providers, we will always carry out a free no-obligation site visit to your location before providing a final quote and design drawings. We can also answer your specific requirements remotely and usually provide a 100% accurate estimate. Our site work due diligence process always involves a pre-visit, so we will only take your order when we are both happy.

Our shelters are also available for self-assembly which involves delivery by 1 one of our operatives and walk-through of the installation steps. The user manual, installation guide and video resources are also provided prior to delivery. We can also supervise the installation for you providing hands-on training for anyone needing to know how to install and dismantle the system.

We work for domestic cutomers, private businesses and public organisations and all of our staff are vetted and DBS checked. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, customer commitment and dedication to quality with operatives fully trained with the relevant skills cards.

As members of the Made-Up Textiles Association (MUTA) we operate on the basis of best-practice guidelines covering every aspect of the outdoor shelter industries work. These cover rules for Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM), driving to, deliveries and moving around sites, accident reporting, safe working procedures, risk assessments, training and communication, weather conditions, anti-slavery and human trafficking, GDPR, CIS, COSHH, waste management, buried services, cleaning & maintenance and long term structural safety.
